FAREWELL MEETING

June 30 2004 marked the end of the academic year with a farewell meeting held by Jesus Embassy members. Generally, this period was full of blessings and many activities in our Fellowship. The main objective of this students' meeting was to thank the Almighty God for His many blessings, protection throughout the hard, demanding, challenging academic year. Not only to thank God, that we gathered, but also we wished to evaluate the achievements we had made throughout the year. Such gatherings of students are the best option to stay in touch with God, and anyone interested can join Christians.

In this particular meeting, students had a chance to interact with each other freely and wished each other happy and prosperous summer holidays as many of the students were traveling back home for this time. Many students could not hide the happiness they had in their hearts and each of them had something to be proud of. We also enjoyed very much the company of Pastor Simon. His prayer and blessing were of great importance. He recognized our impact and he promised the church's closer attention and more support from that moment.

Our program was well planned by our "spear header" Dennis and we had the thanksgiving for the tender care God had given us during the last 10 months. One of our goals is to have better organization come the next academic year hence students had to strategize the major layout for the future with each member taking responsibility where he or she is talented. Students also had the chance to answer various questions and it was very interesting to hear the answers given by some members. Of course, one of the most important parts was a table full of sweets with tea, chips and ice cream.

We are now looking forward to the next academic year with higher expectations of success and achievements from God, than this year. Our main hope is to be better than this last academic year as we serve the Lord. Otherwise, we thank all members of Jesus Embassy Fellowship, our church for its support, and all of you who pray for our success. May God bless all of you!
