"For the eyes of the Lord range
throughout
the earth to strengthen those whose hearts
are fully committed to Him"
(2Chronicles 16:9) NIV
The
International Students' Fellowship "Jesus Embassy"
greets you in the precious name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus
Christ! We are thankful to God for you and for your willingness
to take part in God's work among foreign and Russian students
in Volgograd, Russia.
Some
years ago, God laid a burden upon our hearts to pray for salvation
of all foreign students, who stay in Volgograd. After 6 months
of daily intersession, the Lord began to add to us foreign
students who were being saved. In year 2000 we started to
gather as a small group of 5 people. By this moment God has
granted to us growth and multiplication. For today, The Jesus
Embassy Fellowship consists of more than 30 students. And
in 2002 God spoke to us that there is a need to establish
in Volgograd a center, where students, that came to Volgograd
from different countries of the world to get higher education,
could come to hear the Word and sing praises to God in their
native languages. By faith and in obedience to the Lord we
continue to make step by step to see fulfilled this great
vision that God gave us.
We
praise the Lord Jesus that He strengthens us and pours out
His limitless blessings upon us. Now
our Students' Ministry has some projects that are strategically
important for the Kingdom of God:
1.
Regular outreach crusades to towns and villages of the
Volgograd region.
- we try to help the missionaries who just recently planted
new churches there.
- it strengthens friendship between Christians from different
denominations.
- we hold Sunday services, youth meetings and small concerts.
- visit hospitals
- distribute Christian papers
2.
Bible Study Course for new believers.
- to give to the new converts the basics of the Teaching of
Christ
- to equip the saints for the work of the ministry
3.
Monthly paper of The Jesus Embassy Fellowship
- to reach with the Gospel those students whom we don't know
personally
- counseling and edifying articles
- invitation to the churches and to our students' meetings
4.
Various
programs for foreign students.
